(More customer reviews)I bought one of these fans locally and I liked it so much that I ordered another one from Amazon.
Here are the pros and cons as I see them.
Pros:
1. It pushes a lot of air - I can get a nice breeze from as far as 25 feet away.
2. It doesnt take up a lot of room.
3. It is not ugly like many fans are.
4. The remote control with flashlight is a nice feature even though I rarely use it. For the person who complained about one LED being burned out straight out of the box. Only one LED is for the flashlight. The other is for the remote control functions and doesnt illuminate.
Cons
1. The breeze feature is kind of annoying because of the fluctuation of the noise level.
2. You have to hold the remote in a specific postition to make it work. If the fan is oscillating, its hard to find that position.

14ALL/83125 Sears/Kenmore Cut-to-Fit Replacement Carbon Pre-Filter Review

(More customer reviews)This filter is the same high quality that came with the original Sears air purifier. I have a large older model Kenmore HEPA 220 and I could only get one filter out of this package after cutting about one third of the material away, but it fit well, was easy to trim and then install to the purifier and even if I only got one filter out of it, the price was MUCH more reasonable than the Sears site or buying brand name. I recommend this filter for anyone who has the correct purifier and doesn't mind trimming the filter (all you need is normal household scissors, nothing fancy). Breathe well!

Honeywell HZ-3750GP Electronic Ceramic Tower Heater Review

(More customer reviews)The Honeywell heater arrived packed within its own box within an Amazon box and was well protected. Getting started was as easy as plugging it in. All the features have little icons on the heater but you may need to review the instructions once to understand the icons. Pluses: the heater begins to warm immediately. Even the low power setting seems to generate heat for a small room. The oscillating feature is virtually soundless. The timer turns off the heater within a few minutes of the setting. Minuses: While the temperature display is very easy to read, the actual temperature setting is like a toy. The heater does cycle off close to a setting but the displayed temperature is not very accurate. Also the temperature resets to 75 when the unit is turned off so your desired temperature must be reset every time the unit is turned on. Also, every button that is pressed creates an annoying "beep" that I cannot seem to turn off or decrease. Overall, this is a good basic heater suitable for smaller rooms.

I am really upset because the transportation packaging and the original packaging are not damaged at all which means that they sent them ALREADY in bad condition! these are for my allergic kids....THANK YOU!

(More customer reviews)We bought the filter at the recommendation of our allergist. We bought it for our bedroom to try to cope with my nighttime nasal stuffiness. We had already removed the rug. After owning it a year, we haven't seen any dust accumulation on the inner stage 2 filter.
On the other hand, our central air/heat filter--where we've installed a top of the line filter--may be taking all the work away from junior, so I can't say for sure whether the fault lies with the filter.
In other words, it may be that if you've already put a quality inline filter in the central system, this portable filter is redundant.
I'm now investigating a humidifier (my son swears by it), and I've started using a neti pot (nasal saline rinse from what looks like a little tea pot). Neither of these were on the allergist's recommended environmental steps to take list. My recommendation: try these two things first.

(More customer reviews)I am completely impressed with this machine. I did a lot of research of air purifiers and finally settled on the HunterFan 30124. This item was intended to help clear an 11x11 bedroom from allergens as well as refresh stagnate air. It does not disappoint. The air is clean and odorless in just a few hours of initial use. There is a very natural feel to the room as well. My allergies have considerably improved as a result of running this machine on low. How does it sound? Well I can't even hear it from six feet away on the low setting. On it's medium setting you definitely hear it running, but it isn't a motor sound or a hum, it's just like a box fan. The high setting is the same as the medium only a bit more forceful. You begin to hear the hum. It doesn't rattle. I bought mine at iallergy.com and had an amazing experience. It's $94.00 shipping included. I had two day delivery and prompt friendly phone and email service. I'm particularly impressed with the high CADR ratings. A note on this though...This particular air purifier works in a 15x17 room, and I have mine in an 11x11. What this does is allow you to run the machine at low and avoid any noise on the medium setting (not that it is overly bothersome at that speed). Also, when you kick it up to medium or high, the refresh rate is super fast. Now, GO GET ONE and make your lungs happy! Ya-Ta!

It was advertised as "Genuine Honeywell True HEPA filter" but when the product arrived it was clearly made by some other company than Honeywell. And it is not of the same quality as the Honeywell HEPA filter (the Honeywell has soft rubber gaskets while the one that I received has hard plastic gaskets which makes it harder to seal the filter in the unit).

KAZ INC - Digital Tower Fan with Ionizer (HY047B) Review

(More customer reviews)I use several tower fans to move air around my condo. I bought a pair of these Honeywell tower fans last year and have used them non-stop since. They work well, are quiet, move a good quantity of air for their size, and actually provide a bit of filtration as a bonus. (There is a removable filter that won't remove small particles but does catch things like cat hair). My only complaint is that the base that they sit on isn't very solid or weighty and this means the fans tend to wobble a bit. It's not really noticeable unless you bump into the fan, so it's really a minor complaint.
The fan has various settings which I've only used a few of (time delay shut down, oscillation, air speed) all of which can be controlled using the remote. I've not really used the remote much, so I can't really review how well it works.
Overall this is a nice, quiet tower fan. It does what it's supposed to do well, and that's all you can ask.

Kaz Home Environment HFD-120 Honeywell Oscillating Tower IFD Air Purifier Review

(More customer reviews)The thing I like about this filter is the oscillating feature although mine has decided not to oscillate after just over a year. The prefilter makes this a better filter than most of its type. The prefilter catches large particles while finer dust is processed in the metal washable filter. There is only one problem with this arrangement however, unless those particles are coated with super glue, they tend to blow right out the front side as evidenced by all the dust on the front of the unit. The problem is that the finer the particle the more dangerous it is for your health, the deeper it can be inhaled. For those mold spores that it DOES catch, it is death through the dehydrating process as air constantly moves over them, that is if they don't break away and fly out of the front over time due to the current.
Cleaning is relatively easy, unless you happen to smoke. in that cause, the little 5 mins soak in warm dishwater just wont cut it. On the bright side, since cigarette smoke it so sticky, maybe it will encourage those pesky dut molecules to stay on the grill they are deposited on.
Still searching for a better filter. I will tell you about the plasama cluster in about 6 mos.
