I specifically purchased this model because of the "supposed" capacity to clean 40,000 cubic feet, for that reason it costs twice as much as other machines. It seems that you would have to run it for 6 days to accomplish cleaning 40,000 cu ft. And even then I'm not sure it would do so. In addition to the questionable capacity ... there just aren't enough operating instructions for this thing. Could not recommend.
