(More customer reviews)This product smells good. It smells like a very mild version of Kentucky Fried Chicken. The pieces are rather soft when you first open the bag but they harden (more like dry out) a little after the bag has been opened and closed from giving the dog treats day after day. I previously purchased a chicken jerky type of treat (not a Zuke's product) but I stopped buying it because it got too hard after exposure to the air. My dog would hack and choke after eating them so I quit buying them. My mom found treats by Zuke's on Amazon and she ordered some of the varieties of treats for our dog to try and so far our dog LOVES them. One piece is about 2.5 inches by 4 inches. I don't give him a whole piece at one time. I cut the treat into 4 pieces and then I portion it out to him over a few days. I don't know how much my mom paid for the 3.25 oz. bag so I cannot comment on the value but my dog likes them and they don't appear to cause him any problems after he eats them. He is a Bichon Frise and he is about 5 years old.
