(More customer reviews)I purchased this filter in hopes that it would be better than my filtrete that we had in service at the time and I'm gravely disappointed. It's just as loud, doesn't move as much air, and surely doesn't filter as well. It may be good for removing oder but that's about it. The old filtrete caught much more particles out of the air, as was evident on the filters each week. This Westinghouse hardly has anything on the filters each week but has more build up in the exhaust. This tells me that instead of the particles getting caught in the filter they are instead passing through and building up on the exhaust and getting re-released back into our home. I bought two of these and really regret it.
