She thought the wood smoke particulates in my home were bothering my respiratory system and she was right. This unit makes the air feel and smell fresh and clean and within a couple of days I was breathing better and had less respiratory issues bothering me. Well worth it. And small enough that I can move it from room to room easily (and I am 64). Highly recommended. It also came with a free filter, an additional $49 value, which I thought was fabulous.
