The quality is good. I mean - what would you expect from a piece of natural salt? It's a little bit chalky on the surface, but as soon as the outer layer comes to its shape and small crumbs are removed, it does not crumble.
the wooden coaster is fair. You hardly can spot it - perfect fit to the shape of the salt block.
The product is pretty much as described.
the only thing is that the bulb is so tiny little... it does not create any significant light, but gives nice and soft radiance. We leave it on all night and it does not disturb our sleep.
The color of the lamp is exactly as shown on the picture - bright orange to terracotta.

Holmes Arm and Hammer Air Purifier Booster Filter Review

(More customer reviews)I use my Holmes air cleaner in an average sized bedroom where a smoker stays. The cleaner itself seems to work okay at keeping the smoke and odor down to a minimum. I bought these thinking it would be even better at odor control. But after using them as directed for two months, I just don't see/smell a difference. I'll save my money and just continue to use the regular filters and maybe change them more often.

Rabbit Air BioGS AC Charcoal filter for (model SPA-421A and SPA-582A) Review

(More customer reviews)This item was a direct OEM replacement to the filter that came with my unit. My original had a plastic frame while this one has an aluminum one. They also do not have the honeycomb cell shapes (for the charcoal) anymore.
Aside from the obvious shipping materials (which were ample): The packaging for this product is minimal: only a purple bag around it. No pointless extra box or other materials you just end up throwing away. The purple bag is "PE rated for recycling.
My last filter lasted 3 years, which is the same duration they suggested. How I knew it was time to change out the filter was that the unit stopped clearing odors (i.e. cooking, cats) from the room.
I did, however, wash the filter every month or so with Ivory dish soap and warm water.

Blueair 450E HepaSilent Digital Air-Purification System Review

(More customer reviews)I should start with the fact that everyone in our household has allergies, even the dog I think, but that had not been confirmed. Currently we have the Blueair units in all the bedrooms and family room. The best thing about Blueair units is they work! We really feel a difference. Before getting Blueair my wife was not able to sleep thru the night. She would get congested and her throat would get dry so she kept waking up to drink water. Whatever was giving her trouble is now gone from the air and she is finally able to get a good nights sleep.
Outside the fact that this unit cleans the air, I do also like that it is steel construction ( I did a lot of research and that is hard to find), its quiet!!!, and its energy efficient. This model also comes with interesting electronics. It has a handy little sensor on the side of the machine that actually measures particles and odors. I like that a lot because I can set it on Auto mode and it does all the speed changing by it self. Definitely takes the guess work out of what speed to run it on. As for warranty, the warranty card says mail in for free 5 year warranty.

(More customer reviews)I purchased two of the Ionic Breeze Quadra's for my condominium directly from Sharper Image. The total area of my unit is about 1000 ft^2 with limited windows to open, therefore I am forced to run my air handling equipment most of the year. This leaves my unit quite dusty, I also have many smokers to deal with that leave that persistent musty odor that is hard to get rid of, especially in humid climates. After just a couple of days, the Quadra's had virtually eliminated the musty smoke smell and I have noticed a dramatic decrease in dust on all horizontal surfaces, especially my black counter tops. It really works well; my only beef is the cost. The Quadra's are really quite simple and lightweight (like a plastic model). There is just not the justification for the price. The deal I received allowed me to buy the second unit at a 50% discount. A more realistic price would have been 50% off for both. Ingenious and capable as it is, does not necessarily justify the cost even if other devices with HEPA certifications are more expensive. Bottom line, works great on dust and smoke, though quite pricey.

I was impressed that it cleaned over 3000 square feet for being so compact. It was very quiet. We ran it on the other side of the house from where my sons room was but the next day his allergies went away and he was able to get off his medication. About a week later I noticed my sons allergies came back. I called my husband at work and he said he decided to give it a rest for a day and had shut it off. We turned it back on and the allergies went away. My husband was a believer! Right after we turned it on I noticed the house smelled clean like fresh air or something. I think thats because it has 6 seperate stages of purification to clean out everything. Within 30 minutes of me plugging it in I noticed a difference in the air.

(More customer reviews)I actually bought this at Bed Bath & Beyond after checking out every single one of their air purifiers. I chose this one because it has 3 settings, an ionizer that doesn't produce ozone, and a hepa filter that works down to 5 microns or something like that.
I have EXTREMELY bad allergies and asthma to pets, and I also have 2 dogs (I know, I'm crazy). When I don't use this purifier I can definitely tell a difference.. I can't breathe! I was sooo so happy to have finally bought this. It was a little more then I wanted to spend but TOTALLY worth it.
I'm actually writing this review right now because I just went to clean the filter and it was SO GROSS! The carbon and hepa filters were both covered in dust and dog hair. I couldn't believe all the crud that this thing got out of the air. (Actually, I couldn't believe how much crap just floats around in the air like that, that we breathe in!) Actually seeing everything that this thing captures is amazing, and I'm so glad I can breathe clean air now.
The high setting is a little loud but I only use that when I first turn it on. The manual recommends to use this setting when you want to clean all the air in a room in 15 minutes. So after a while I turn it on to whisper mode and it's pretty quiet. Of course you can tell it's there.. just like a whisper.. but it's not reallllyy noticable.
Great product, & I love that the hepa filter is permanent and easy to clean, and you can actually see that it works. (and I think it's worth mentioning that this is the first product review I've ever written. That's how much I like it!)

This MicroLux air purifier has been one of our best investments. It has completely killed all smells that can come from having dogs. The only complaint I got from my fiancé is that it also killed the smell of our Christmas tree. (but I guess that just means it's working) It's been now two month since I got the purifier and so far not a single problem. It runs over 8 hours a day and keeps the house fresh. The timer is a plus, being able to program what time I want it to start and stop has made it so easy to keep our home odor free. Cleaning the unit is very simple, the back panel pops right off making it easy to access the filters. Overall I am so pleased with this unit and would recommend it to anyone looking for an air purifier.

I've explored all of the natural alternatives I could find (diet adjustments, supplements, etc.) and medical treatments (migraine preventatives, allergy shots, acute treatments, etc.), but I still continue to suffer frequent migraines and chronic sinus pain. I reached a point of feeling essentially out of options until one rainy day, feeling my typical sinus pain which was progressing to a migraine, I sat in a Dr's office next to an air purifier for 45 minutes and felt BETTER! This launched my search into a new natural alternative that NOBODY told me about!

So, I made room for it in the bathroom. Am I ever glad I did. That thing will NEVER leave the bathroom again! When you're finished in the bathroom, there is NO odor. Great for having guests over during the holidays. You know how there is always ONE who really lights up the bathroom? If you don't know, then you're probably the one I'm talking about. Anyway, the odor removal appliance works great for those special events. It's a great investment. It doesn't cover odors, it ELIMINATES them! Even when we spray our fragrance in the bathroom, the smell never leaves the room. I can't say enough about it. Okay, I can. And, I'll wrap it up here. Buy it, you won't be sorry. I'm getting more for other parts of the house.

(More customer reviews)I purchased this unit a month ago after an extensive search for the "perfect" purifier at a good price. I went through the " I don't know about this brand blues" or " look at the price " comparing the others makes and models.
But I was sold when I called the company and talk to customer service after viewing the "you tube" presentation, they were honest and answered every question I had, I also like that I could return it no question ask if I didn't like it. The unit has more bang for the buck than any units I compared it to, and really their was no other unit that could match the combo of purification it has. This unit has 9 stages not 1 or 2 like the store brands. Well the unit arrived quick and setup was easy I was afraid it would be loud compared to what I heard at the stores but to my surprise it was perfect on "auto" and like all the reviewers are stating you will notice the difference in hours if not minutes this machine really works. I would buy again !
